Approve / Renew Accountant and Audit Firm

This service allows banks, financial institutions, and audit firms to apply for registration or renewal with the Real Estate Regulatory Agency to manage real estate development escrow accounts and conduct financial auditing of real estate projects.

Escrow Account Trustee
1-Trade License
2-Ensure the submission of a list of employees along with contact details on an annual basis.
3-Sign an Escrow Account Trustee Agreement with the Real Estate Regulatory Agency (RERA).
4-Application Form for Escrow Account Trustee Accreditation / Renewal
5-Central Bank Registration Certificate
6-Statement of Service Fees Provided to the Developer

Audit Firm

1-Submit the CV and respond to the questions approved by the Real Estate Regulatory Agency (for new applications).
2-Submit the Memorandum of Association (if available).
3-Auditor and employee registration approved by the Ministry of Economy.
4-Trade License issued by the Department of Economic Development
5-Application Form for Audit Firm Accreditation / Renewal
6-Sign an Audit Firm Agreement with the Department

Escrow Account Trustee
1-Technical management for project monitoring or contracting with a consultancy firm to carry out such monitoring and follow-up, and to notify RERA of any updates to this list from time to time.
2-A dedicated and integrated unit for managing escrow accounts in the Emirate of Dubai.
3-(In case of renewal of the Escrow Account Trustee) — Signing an Escrow Account Trustee Agreement with RERA is not required.

Audit Firm

1-Ensure the audit firm’s compliance with the annual evaluation standards (in case of renewal).
2-(In case of renewal of the Audit Firm) — Signing an Audit Firm Agreement with RERA is not required

Payment of an Account Trustee approval fee of AED (75,000) annually

Payment of an Auditing Bureau approval fee of AED (50,000) annually

Step 1: Download the application from the website and send it via email.
Step 2: Review and audit the application, then approve or reject it.
Step 3: Sign an agreement in case of requesting the accreditation of a new escrow agent or audit firm.
Step 4: Pay the fees.
Step 5: Update the registration record of the escrow agent and audit firm, and issue system access credentials
