This service allows individuals to apply for the registration of property ownership for heirs by transferring the property from the deceased to the heirs based on the legal inheritance certificate and the heirs' identification documents
Via Service Center
Step 1: Visit Trustee centers or DLD Main Building and submit the required documents.
Step 2: Pay the fees and receive a payment receipt (if applicable).
Step 3: The front-line employee enters the transaction data into the system.
Step 4: The transaction is audited and approved.
Step 5: Receive a notification via email about the request completion, along with the issued documents (if any).
1-Legal Notification of Inheritance
2- Emirates ID copies of all heirs (citizens and residents)
3- Copies of valid passports for non-resident heirs
4- No Objection Letter from the mortgaging entity if the property is mortgaged, or a No Objection Letter from the developer if there is a preliminary sale agreement
5- Official letter from Dubai Courts, other UAE courts, or the Awqaf addressed to the Dubai Land Department requesting the transfer of ownership to the heirs
AED 1,000 to be collected from the heirs for each property
AED 250 fee for issuing a Certificate of Title / Title deed
AED 100 fee for a land plot map for the lands outside jurisdiction of Dubai Municipality
AED 225 fee for a land map for the unified map with Dubai Municipality
AED 250 for an apartment map
AED 250 for a villa map
AED 20 knowledge and innovation fee for each drawing
