‘Iftar Sayim’ initiative organised by Dubai Land Department in collaboration with Dubai Charity Association, real estate developers to foster social solidarity
25 March 2025

In collaboration with Dubai Charity Association and various real estate developers, Dubai Land Department organised the ‘Iftar Sayim’ initiative under the theme ‘The Goodness Endures.’ This initiative supports joint efforts between the public and private sectors to promote charitable work and foster a culture of sustainable social responsibility. It also aligns with the Year of the Community 2025 objectives, reinforcing the values of generosity, giving, and solidarity. The initiative was launched following the cooperation agreement signed in February.

This initiative is supported by DAMAC Properties, Danube Properties, ORO24 Developments, Ellington Properties, The First Group, and Emirates Real Estate Solutions (ERES). Through their contributions, more than 100,000 Iftar meals were distributed throughout the holy month of Ramadan across key locations, including Muhaisnah, Al Barsha, Al Barsha South, International City, and Bur Dubai – Al Fahidi.

Mohammed Ali Al Badwawi, Acting CEO of the Real Estate Regulatory Agency at Dubai Land Department, said: “The holy month of Ramadan presents an opportunity to uphold the noble human values that form the foundation of our society. Through this initiative, we reaffirm Dubai Land Department’s commitment to its leading role in fostering social solidarity, collaborating with our partners from charitable organisations and the real estate sector. This effort also aligns with our ongoing endeavours to support the Year of the Community 2025 objectives and reinforce Dubai’s approach to building a cohesive society rooted in generosity, cooperation, and shared responsibility.”

His Excellency Ahmed Al Suwaidi, Executive Director of the Dubai Charity Association, said: “We at Dubai Charity Association are pleased to collaborate with the Dubai Land Department on this humanitarian initiative, which contributes to spreading the values of compassion and brotherhood that define the holy month of Ramadan, as part of our annual Ramadan campaign ‘The goodness endure’. This initiative reflects a bright image of the UAE’s community spirit, where the efforts, energies, and capabilities of government and private sector institutions and charitable organisations come together, making the UAE a global model in humanitarian work and reinforcing its image as a symbol of giving.”

Dubai Land Department continues to leverage its strategic partnerships to enhance sustainable community initiatives, reinforcing its role as a key contributor to developing an integrated real estate environment built on sustainability, responsibility, and positive community engagement. This aligns with the vision of Dubai’s wise leadership to establish the city as a global leader in human and social development.
