Dubai Land Department Unveils Dubai Developers “Mashrooi” Application at GITEX 2015

Dubai, UAE, October 18, 2015: Visitors to the thirty-fifth edition of GITEX Technology Week had the opportunity to familiarise themselves with a unique set of digital real estate solutions which have been developed by Dubai Land Department (DLD). Attendees who visit the government department's stand at the exhibition, which is currently underway at the Dubai World Trade Centre, are able to see the latest achievements developed by DLD.

"Our participation in the thirty-fifth session of this global event, confirms the extent of our commitment to communicate with our customers and those interested in our services and activities all over the place. At the same time, we are taking from this event every year an opportunity to reveal our services and show what we have achieved to provide the best services to our customers," said HE Sultan Butti Bin Mejren, Director General of DLD.

DLD unveiled the "Mashrooi" Dubai Developers the smart application designed for the real estate developers and its investors by providing accurate information about the master developer, sub developer, projects and escrow account information from DLD robust property management system. The application classifies the developers by its location, developer name, developer number and project types.

The system displays updated images for the projects and details of the technical inspection of the projects and the gradual progress for the actual level of accomplishment for these projects.

As it Integrates with Dubai Land Departments developers property management system (OQOOD), and uses DLD's data to ensure the integrity of the data listed, provides real time project status information such as completion percentage, actual building image and escrow account, and accessible through all smart devices (Androids and IOS).

Commenting on this, Bin Mejren added: "Our efforts at this time to provide all possible avenues of support for the initiative of the Smart Dubai, which aims to transform Dubai into a smart city, especially with the disclosure of a draft law on the gate open data for the population of Dubai, We can complete harmony with this prudent government vision, led by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, we have set necessary procedures to convert the largest number of our time plans to e-format."

DLD's Digital Property application and its many other smart solutions and e-services can be seen at GITEX at Dubai Smart Government Stand which is located in Sheikh Saeed Hall number (3). GITEX 2014 continues until October 22.
