[Dubai - United Arab Emirates, May 15, 2016] – Dubai Land Department (DLD) has reported a successful participation at the recently concluded Dubai Property Show, which was held in London, U.K. Taking a major stand at the exhibition, which ran from May 13 until May 15 in Great Britain's capital, DLD reported a large number of visitors and investors inquiring about the opportunities to invest in Dubai's burgeoning real estate market.
His Highness Shaikh Mohammed Bin Maktoum Al Maktoum, Minister Plenipotentiary and Head of Economic Affairs at the Embassy of United Arab Emirates in UK inaugurated the Dubai Property Show, along with HE Majida Ali Rashed, Assistant Director General and Head – Real Estate Investment Management and Promotion Center, the investment arm of Dubai Land Department (DLD) and other dignitaries from Dubai Land Department the official Sponsor.
DLD's participation in this exhibition is in parallel with a series of other successful events within an initiative known as 'Tarweej' (a developers' assembly) launched by the Real Estate Investment Management and Promotion Centre. This aims to support the emirate's real estate sector by promoting communication between all parties and by focusing on products and real estate projects in Dubai.
"The Dubai Property Show was the perfect opportunity for us to position Dubai as the world's premier real estate destination and a byword for innovation, trust and happiness. London represents an extremely important market for us through its strong commercial ties to Dubai and the fact that there currently showing growing interest in the local real estate market and they are ranked 4th among 198 nationalities investing in Dubai, and they spent nearly AED 62 billion on more than 33,000 properties," said HE Sultan Butti Bin Mejren, Director General, DLD.
The government body hosted the sideline forums at the event, with the aim of introducing to potential customers the investment climate in Dubai, including the opportunities it presents and the strengths it enjoys from effective regulation. DLD's Real Estate Investment Management and Promotion Centre, the organisation's investment arm, used the discussion panels to give an integrated focus on the attractions of Dubai's real estate sector. The sessions presents important general information and highlight DLD's services through its various departments and divisions.

The Dubai Property Show will act as a global platform that will bring together real estate developers, sales and marketing agents, hospitality developers, financial institutions and representatives of certain government departments, as well as architects, interior designers and many other companies operating in domains relevant to the property sector.
