[Dubai - United Arab Emirates, 28 October 2015 2015] – Dubai Land Department (DLD) has announced that it is strategically partnering with the Dubai Property Show in Mumbai, which is taking place in Mumbai from November 6 until 8, 2015.
Organised in conjunction with DLD's Investment Management and Promotion Centre, the three-day event is aimed at reinforcing cooperation among all parties operating in the emirate's real estate sector, as well as attracting local and foreign investments to Dubai.
"India is one of the leading economies in the world, being a member in "BRICS" group, and occupies third place on the list of the largest economies on the level of the continent of Asia, and enjoy positive growth rates for many years," said Director General of the DLD, His Excellency Sultan Butti Bin Mejren.
DLD's statistics show that Indian investors topped all investor's nationalities in Dubai, with 4089 transactions with a total value of AED 13 billion in 2015.
"In recent years we noticed the increase in India's investments in real estate and other assets outside India; with Dubai's attractive opportunities for Indian investors, due to the high standard of living and the availability of excellent living conditions, not to mention that Dubai is the largest center in the world for exports and re-export, with a legislative environment, a set infrastructure, and the advantage of its economic and political stability," said Majida Ali Rashid, Assistant Director General of DLD and Head of the Investment Management and Promotion Centre.
"DLD has been communicating with all companies operating in the real estate market in Dubai to participate in the Dubai Property Show and contribute to enhancing awareness of Dubai's real estate market. We can certainly attract more new investors through such events," she added.
DLD will continue to hold more such events in the capitals and major cities around the world as Dubai prepares to host Expo of 2020. Such preparations entail the construction of more facilities to accommodate the growing number of visitors before and during the exhibition.
The Dubai Property Show is held every year in several countries around the world and hosts more than 35 companies engaged in real estate development in the emirates. Exhibitors at the event display their various projects and services, which include some of the finest examples of luxury real estate projects in the UAE. They also organise educational seminars for potential buyers and host real estate experts who spotlight the growth in the Dubai market. The exhibition enables stakeholders to complete transactions and respond to inquiries from visitors interested in investing in Dubai real estate.
