DLD’s programme brought together discussions on advanced AI applications in real estate and specialised workshops delivered in collaboration with the Higher Colleges of Technology (HCT) and the University of Dubai. The programme reflects an integrated approach that connects market development with the technology, knowledge and human capabilities required to support sustainable growth, while strengthening collaboration between the real estate sector and academic institutions.
AI: From Answering Queries to Executing Tasks
Khalifa Al Zeraim Al Suwaidi, CEO of Emirates Real Estate Solutions ‘ERES’, participated in a panel discussion titled ‘The Era of Agentic AI: From Chatbots to Digital Colleagues.’ Moderated by Eman Taher, Data Planning and Governance Section Manager at Dubai Land Department, the session explored opportunities to use AI to enhance the efficiency of the real estate ecosystem, alongside the governance, trust and accountability frameworks required as intelligent systems become increasingly capable of executing tasks autonomously.
The workshop highlighted that AI is evolving from a tool that provides answers into a partner capable of supporting task execution and enhancing the efficiency of the real estate ecosystem. Real estate involves interconnected journeys linking investors, developers, brokers, owners, tenants and regulators. AI can enhance these journeys by reducing repetitive data entry, accelerating application processing and improving access to relevant information.”
The session also highlighted that the ‘Initial Registration’ platform as a practical example of this direction, explaining that it uses AI to read documents, extract relevant data and support the processing of transactions that meet the required criteria. These capabilities help reduce manual effort, improve data accuracy and enhance operational efficiency.
