[Dubai - United Arab Emirates, 27 June 2016] – Dubai Land Department (DLD) recently announced the launch of the 'Ejari' smart application at the Dubai Real Estate Institute (DREI)'s forum for leasing and property management companies, at an event which was attended by DLD's senior management and a number of senior managers, The new Ejari electronic platform is expected to make a quantum leap in the mechanisms of registration, approval and documenting leases in Dubai.
Deputy CEO for Rental Affairs Sector, Dubai Land Department, Mohammed Yahya said: "We are delighted to offer our customers the latest in technological advancements for Ejari procedures. This smart application was developed with the aim of ensuring the happiness of landlords and tenants, and to reduce the need for DLD routine visits. We are confident that this new platform will deliver ease of use and provide a valuable timesaver for all parties concerned, ensuring less time is needed from the auditors, which will in turn greatly contribute towards more speedy delivery."
The attendees were provided with an overview on DLD's future direction during the forum, including how various departments will achieve a complete transition into smart applications, to deliver improved services that keep pace with the future. Those visiting were provided an opportunity to learn about how DLD is developing systems and laws in that are in tune with the government's focus.
Director of Rental Relations Regulatory Department, Hamdan Al Madhani said: "The development of such innovative solutions greatly contributes towards highlighting DLD's innovative approach to services, which utilises the latest in technology developments and seeks to support the renaissance of the real estate sector in Dubai. We will continue our ongoing efforts directed towards improving all services in real estate rental affairs, through the provision of smart initiatives."
The forum served as a valuable opportunity for managers at DLD to listen to the views of the leasing and management experts in the real estate sector, as they presented their ideas and suggestions, to contribute towards developing proactive solutions to obstacles and to resolve potential problems.
