DLD's platform amazes its visitors and attracts large crowds throughout the event

Dubai, United Arab Emirates, 12th October 2017: Dubai Land Department's (DLD) platform at GITEX Technology Week 2017, which concluded yesterday, witnessed a huge public turnout from VIPs and visitors.

His Excellency Sultan Butti bin Mejren, Director General of DLD, commented: "One of the highlights of our participation in this global event was showcasing DLD's commitment to making Dubai the smartest and most successful city in the world. Our dedication to supporting our leadership's efforts to achieve smart transformation in the Emirate is not only demonstrated by our advanced applications, but also by our cooperation and coordination with government entities and private sector companies. I thank our employees and praise the important role they played in welcoming visitors, introducing them to our services, and presenting our latest innovations in the world of real estate applications."

Advanced Technologies

DLD's platform was a key destination for senior government officials, who praised the department's ongoing efforts to align itself fully with the Dubai Plan 2021 and position the Emirate at the forefront of the world's smartest cities.

Bin Mejren commented: "These technologies will have a positive impact on our vision of making Dubai the world's premier destination for innovation, confidence and happiness. Our participation at GITEX 2017 will certainly be a great asset to our operations, especially as many of our visitors were keen to share our expertise in this field with other departments at the local and regional levels."

During its participation under the slogan 'Simple, Secure, Fast', DLD used its platform to introduce its latest technologies, including a 12-square-metre electromechanical flip dot screen. Through the innovative screen, DLD introduced a dynamic mechanical representation of Dubai's real estate projects to inform the public about the scale of the Emirate's real estate transactions.

Employees of Emirates Real Estate Solutions (ERES), the technical arm of DLD, provided valuable information and offered detailed explanations about the most prominent technologies offered by the department, as well as its various smart and innovative services. The visitors expressed their admiration for the developments made by DLD's team to serve and develop the Emirate's real estate sector.

During the event, DLD consolidated its position as a leader in the development of technologies that are important for the real estate sector.
