DLD Successfully Concludes its Participation at DGEP

Dubai Land Department (DLD) was successfully able achieve its objectives from its participation at the 3rd session of Dubai Government Achievements Exhibition.

HE Sultan Butti Bin Mejren, Director General of DLD said, "Our presence and strategic partnership with the Dubai Government Achievements Exhibition was a great success by all means. We saw in this exhibition a great opportunity to join other leading organisations in Dubai to celebrate together our achievements, projects and quality services. We believe the forum is the ideal platform to showcase the many innovations and initiatives successfully launched by the Dubai Land Department over the years, and we are looking forward to our upcoming achievements to showcase them during the 4th session".

During the exhibition, DLD employees were keen to take advantage of this important occasion to highlight the department services; they have distributed a large number of publications to publicize the department and its services and its most important achievements. DLD mainly distributed 'Dubai's Investor's Guide' and 'Sustainability Book' and Laws and Regulations booklet, as we as flyers about 'Cinder Dubai 2016' and 'Dubai Sustainable Cities Center'.

The most important book that received a lot of demand was the 'Tenancy Guide', which was distributed during the event for the first time. This book contains forty pages, and includes a number of chapters to explain the leasing program in terms of the required documents for renting, and the duties and rights of the parties to the relationship of landlord and tenant, and how to sign leases with RERA.

DLD's stand will shed the light on its latest global achievements in front of all high delegates and visitors. The department will promote the 20th Congress of the World Land Registration Congress which is being organised by International Property Registries Association (IPRA-CINDER) and Dubai Land Department. DLD also won plaudits during the nomination process for its delegation's keenness during IPRA-CINDER Chile in 2014, where it highlighted in front of a large international forum the department's progress and achievements in the field of real estate registration.

At the stand, DLD focused on the "Dubai Sustainable Cities Center" launched in collaboration with the United Nations Environment Program (UNEP), the leading international organization in the environmental field. Focusing on all the accolades won in 2014, the stand will showcase DLD smart application, the application includes the Investment Map, the Dubai Real Estate Market (e-Mart) and the Ejari, Trakheesi systems and Registration Trustees.
