DLD’s third ‘Real Estate Fitness Challenge’ launches at Al Ittihad Park on The Palm Jumeirah
13 November 2017

Dubai, United Arab Emirates, 13 November 2017: Dubai Land Department (DLD) has continued its 'Real Estate Fitness Challenge' by launching a third week of activities at Al Ittihad Park on The Palm Jumeriah, reflecting its keenness to support the Dubai Fitness Challenge launched by His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Executive Council of the Government of Dubai.

The Walk Challenge was launched yesterday with the participation of DLD representatives including Director General His Excellency Sultan Butti bin Mejren and Deputy Director General Juma Bin Humaidan, as well as a number of other directors and employees, and DLD's real estate partners from Nakheel and Tamleek Real Estate Registration Trustee.

DLD chose Al Ittihad Park for the Walk Challenge as it is a unique destination where citizens and residents can walk, run or relax in a natural and shaded environment. The park features a 3.2km runway and is equipped with sports equipment that allows visitors to exercise. It is also home to over 60 diverse species of trees and plants.

The Palm Jumeirah is a global icon in construction, aesthetics and engineering. It is one of the largest industrial islands in the world, and is highly attractive destination for developers, residents and tourists, including luxury residences, tourist attractions and recreational facilities.

DLD chose Jumeirah Golf Estates as the starting point for the first week of its 'Real Estate Fitness Challenge', followed by Meraas' La Mer project for the second week.

Through its 'Real Estate Fitness Challenge', DLD is supporting the Dubai Fitness Challenge by bringing about a positive change in the lifestyle of UAE nationals and residents, helping to make Dubai the most active and sporty city in the world, and highlighting the most prominent landmarks in the Emirate's booming real estate sector.
