This service allows a retiree owning a property the purchase value of which is equal to or more than 1 million AED at the time of purchase, whose age is 55 yeas old and above to apply for a 5-years renewable residence permit. The husband or wife and children can be sponsored. In the event that a mortgaged property, a bank letter indicating 1 million AED paid amount as a proof to be provided

4- UAE ID (if any)
5- A copy of the current residence permit (if any).

For retirees
1- The applicant must be over 55 years old.
2- The investment value (purchasing value or marketing value) in the property is 1 million AED (paid in full, unmortgaged) (one property or several properties) under the name of the applicant. In the event that a mortgaged property, the amount paid must be AED 1 million, or a letter from the bank must be provided in which the amount paid of the mortgage value is set out addressed to the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs indicating that (the deposit cannot be released within 3 years)>
3- A husband and wife can share one property (providing a certified copy of the marriage contract).

Family residency permit
1- A letter of no objection from the father notarized by the notary (in case the mother is the sponsor.)
2- Daughters over 18 years old (Proof of marital status from Dubai Courts)
3- The original ID and original passport of the sponsor
4- A personal photo
5- Health insurance
6- A certified marriage contract
7- A certified birth certificate for children (male - female)
8- IBAN Number.
9- A study certificate for the sons over 18 years old

Residence permit of the parents

1- The original ID and original passport of the sponsor
2- A certified dependency certificate certified by the consulate
3- A personal photo
4- Health insurance
5- Bank statement for the last 3 months
6- A certified birth certificate
7- IBAN Number.

Note: Only the applicant is required to attend,, escorts are not allowed to apply nor to apply through a representative.

Any documents required to be uploaded, such as birth or marriage certificates, or bank letters, can be uploaded to the Land Department's document storage space.

3- AED 2,256.75 fee for confirmation of residency permit (5 years)
4- AED 2,020 fee for the Land Department
5- AED 1,155 administrative fee

Family residence permit for 5 years

Step I: A customer will move to a service center
