In April‭, ‬the total rental contracts reached 41,810‭ ‬registered leases of which 60.4‭ ‬percent were new contracts while 39.6‭ ‬percent were renewed‭. ‬The annual contracts acquired 79.5‭ ‬percent of the total contracts while 20.5‭ ‬percent were non-annual‭. ‬Last but not least‭, ‬the registered leases for residential purposes acquired around 74‭ ‬percent of the total contracts‭, ‬while 25‭ ‬percent were registered for commercial purposes‭.‬

When compared to April 2021‭, ‬total number of rental leases increased by 3.2‭ ‬percent where number of new contracts increased by 8%‭ ‬to represents a 60.4‭ ‬percent of the total number of contracts compared to 57.7‭ ‬percent in April 20221‭. ‬In addition to that‭, ‬the‭ ‬annual leases share of a total number of leases increased from 72.9‭ ‬percent in April 2021‭ ‬to 79.5‭ ‬percent in April 2022‭, ‬and the‭ ‬share of commercial rental leases witnessed a 4.23‭ ‬percent increase during April 2022‭ ‬to represent 25‭ ‬percent of the total number of leases compared to 20.77percent in April 2021‭.‬
